IT PLUS ZU 01 shower seat, electrically adjustable in height and sideways.

PLUS shower seats are available in a range of colours. Available in fixed height, electrically and manually adjustable, with or without seat opening and with back and armrests.
They are suitable for wall mounting or for mounting on Pressalit PLUS wall rails.

Electrically controlled shower seat with back and armrest. Electrically height adjustable up to 500 mm, armrests are independently height adjustable. The seat and armrests can be folded.

Available with or without seat opening.

Materials: comfortable polyurethane foam over plywood, mounted on an aluminium profile. The non-slip grip surface of the armrests is made of soft SEBS (styrene ethylene butylene styrene).

For mounting on horizontal PLUS wall rails (not supplied).

Colours

White, red (RAL 3003), dark blue (RAL 50111), anthracite, lime green, orange.

The shower seat is used for sitting in the shower.

Materials

The shower seat is made of polyurethane (PU) foam with plywood, covered by a moulded surface, which is protected by a clear PU lacquer. The backrest is also made of polyurethane (PU) foam, also covered with a clear PU lacquer. The arms are mainly made of 10 micrometre anodised aluminium with a non-slip grip surface at the end made of soft SEBS (styrene ethylene butylene styrene) with a glass reinforced nylon core. The wrist rest is also made of soft SEBS. Internal parts and fasteners are mainly made of stainless steel. The wrist tube is sealed with ABS.

Ergonomics

Ergonomically designed seat - contact surface 450 x 437 mm. Soft and non-slip material with a warm touch. The oval shape of the armrests provides an easy and comfortable surface for leaning and leaning against.

Features

Push-button operated raising or lowering - the seat can be easily adjusted up or down to the appropriate application height for the carer while the user is sitting on it. The seat, backrest and armrests can be adjusted simultaneously thanks to a safe and simple system. The armrests can also be adjusted independently of the seat and backrest. The seat and armrests can be folded when not in use or when space is to be maximised. Wired manual controls are included with the brackets for wall mounting.

Product capacity

Maximum user weight (seat): 150 kg.
Maximum load capacity of armrests: 55 kg.
For a seat load of 150 kg, each wall-mounting bracket is loaded with 35 kg.

The seat has been statically tested with a safety factor of 2,5, which is a requirement under the applicable assistive device standards.

Cleaning

PLUS shower seat.
The product should be cleaned with hot water or mild soap detergent.
Do not use chlorine based, caustic or abrasive cleaning products as this may cause damage to the surface.

Important: The polyurethane surface of the PLUS Shower Seat and PLUS Backrest has an antibacterial surface which will be damaged if cleaned with anything other than soap and water.

The product should be wiped immediately after cleaning with a soft cloth wrung out in clean water, otherwise some materials may discolour and stain and the surface coating may deteriorate.

DESCALING OF ALUMINIUM PARTS:

Pressalit recommends removing lime deposits from wall rails and other aluminium parts with a solution of three parts 30% acetic acid and seven parts tap water. After washing the aluminium parts with this solution, the parts should be wiped with a damp cloth wrung out in clean water.

This product complies with all relevant requirements of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices. It also meets all relevant requirements of Council Directive 2006/42/EC of 17 May 2006 on machinery and Council Directive 2011/65/EC of 17 May 2011 on RoHS.

Warranty

Pressalit undertakes to remedy defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five years from the date of invoice.
